Dr. Hudzina

Hello Kingsway families!  I am super excited to be named the principal of Kingsway Elementary! I was born and raised in Charlotte County. I attended Neil Armstrong Elementary School, Port Charlotte Middle School, and Port Charlotte High School. My Grandfather was a school principal at East Elementary and Neil Armstrong Elementary, so I have always wanted to be an elementary principal. Education is my passion.

After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from FSU (Go Noles!), I taught 6th grade at Punta Gorda Middle School. I went back and earned my Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree from FGCU in Fort Myers. I then worked as an assistant principal in DeSoto County and Lee County before returning to Charlotte County as the principal at Vineland Elementary School.  Most recently, I served as the Human Resources Director for ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â. However, I realized how much I missed being around students. When I had the opportunity to come to KES as Principal, I could not pass it up.  I am so excited!

My husband Michael is a high school teacher, and we have two amazing children, Kylie and Michael Jr. I live in the Kingsway community and my children will attend KES. I am thrilled to be here and cannot wait to work with you, the students, and the staff at KES. I am collaborative and have an open-door policy. I cannot wait to meet you all!  #KESTheCougarWay

Ms. Joiner

Hello Cougar Families,

My name is Ms. Kalee Joiner and I am so excited to be a part of the leadership team at Kingsway Elementary as your Assistant Principal.  I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself.

This is my tenth year at Charlotte County Public School (ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â).  I spent 7 years in the classroom. For 3 years, I have had the privilege and great experience of serving as the Lead Teacher here at Kingsway.  I am so proud to be a Cougar Leader!

Throughout my career in education, I have strived to foster a safe learning environment and instill a love for learning iall students.  It is crucial that we provide our cougar leaders with tools for learning to ensure their success now as well as in the future.  We must be a champion for all students!  It takes a village and we must work together to reach our vision of student success for all!

Proud to Lead,

Ms. Joiner
