Mrs. Vicky Daly
My name is Vicky Daly, and I am going into my 4th year as the Kingsway Elementary School Social Worker. I have been a social worker for over 25 years. I hold degrees in both Psychology and Social Work. I am from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida 9 years ago with my husband. I enjoy watching sports (Philly teams, of course) and spending time with family and friends, as well as time out on my boat and traveling.
My role at the school is to provide support and interventions to the students, their families, as well as the staff. I work with community partners to assist with resources that can be beneficial to our students and families. I am responsible for addressing any attendance concerns, providing individual and group counseling, making referrals to outside agencies when needed, managing the food pantry, managing all sneaker and clothing donations, continuing to organize the backpack Thursday program, coordinating the Check and Connect program, assisting with families in transition, and completing risk and threat assessments when needed, as well as providing support and crisis intervention. I look forward to working with and supporting the students at Kingsway. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me for support.
