AICE Diploma and Bright Futures
Students who earn the AICE Diploma Award from Cambridge, and have 100 community service hours logged, automatically qualify for the Florida Academic Scholars Award (highest level) of the Bright Futures Scholarship Program (SAT/ACT score and GPA requirements are waived).
Cambridge begins the process of verifying AICE Diploma Awards and communicates this information to the Florida Bright Futures office in August of each year. Cambridge works with the Bright Futures office to process any Class of 2024 graduating students who received their AICE Diploma in previous years (ADIPs completed in 2022-2023). By August 20, Cambridge will send the Bright Futures office an updated list of successful AICE Diploma candidates from the June 2024 series (students completing their ADIPs after May 2024 testing).
Typically, the Bright Futures office will process all information from Cambridge within two weeks of receipt. A student’s scholarship status will then be updated in a database accessed by Florida colleges and universities for calculating tuition fees due on the last day of registration drop/add. If necessary, students can tell the financial aid office at their university that they are a pending AICE Diploma graduate and request a deferment on their fall tuition due date.
Please note, Cambridge cannot send a list of AICE Diploma recipients before the end of a student’s senior year. The Bright Futures office does not attach eligibility information to a student’s record until they receive a final high school transcript showing that the student has completed high school and has graduated. As a reminder, the student must complete the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA). Additionally, the student's final transcript must include their completed community service or work hours as required by the Florida DOE for the Florida Academic Scholars Award, as well as their graduation date.

Students place transcript orders via Grade Transcript Service and use their account to:
-
Track the status of all transcript requests; including payment and delivery to institutions
-
See when institutions can access their digital transcripts
-
View the grades sent with each transcript request
When should students request transcripts?

Institutions generally request that students send only a single official transcript with all results after the student has matriculated to (been accepted to and committed to) the institution, because the exam grade transcript is used to determine the appropriate credit and course placement by the registrar.
How can students pay?
Students can pay the $17 fee for each transcript request, per institution, online by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
