Mrs. Quintero
Hello! My name is Mrs. Quintero and I am Deep Creek Elementary School's newest 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! In the past, I taught middle school (grades 6-8) Reading and Language Arts in Lee County for 8 years. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Southwest Florida College in 2012 and I graduated with my Master's Degree in K-12 Education Studies from Capella University in 2015. I am certified to teach K-6 Elementary Education and grades 5-12 English in the state of Florida.
I live right here in the Deep Creek community with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. I am originally from Minnesota and moved here to Florida 13 years ago. My family and I absolutely love living in this community and I am very proud to now be a part of the DCES community as well :)
Teaching is my passion and I love coming to work with my students and fellow teachers at DCES every single day! This is going to be an amazing school year!
