    This school year is going to be a "blast". Let's kick off the year with the best Open House ever! Families can come anytime during the two hours to meet their child's teacher.

    Our families have requested nights that they can learn more about the curriculum, monthly pacing guides, and daily school routines. We will use these nights to spend time explaining these and other topics to our families.

    Our celebration of the 1st quarter of the school year. This will be a fun fall event!

    Join us in the cafeteria, courtyard, and pavilion for Winter games, Winter activities, and holiday karaoke.

    Our families and students can enjoy a fun run through Deep Creek Elementary campus. Black lights, the night sky, and exciting music make this event a Cub favorite.

    Our students all have someone that is "grand" in their life. This event is a social event in our cafeteria and courtyard during which our students can dance and take photos with their "grand" person.

     

    The Teddy Bear Picnic is the most cherished tradition at DCES. Come visit your child's classroom to view student progress and then head to our courtyard areas with your picnic basket, favorite teddy bear, and enjoy lunch with your special Cub and family.

  • About DCES Curriculum Nights:
    Grades 4 & 5 - September 17th
    Grades 2 & 3 - September 24th (will reschedule)
    Grades K & 1 - October 8th (will reschedule)
    Each curriculum night is from 5:00-6:30 pm and will begin in the cafeteria.
    What is curriculum night? Curriculum night is a chance for families to learn more about the curriculum, monthly pacing guides, and daily school routine.
    Who attends? Parents and Caregivers. Given that this is a busy informational night for parents, we ask that our Cubs stay at home for this event, if possible.
    When do I attend? We have three curriculum nights scheduled. Please attend the night that is scheduled for your student’s grade level. If you have multiple students, this may mean multiple curriculum nights.
