My name is Amy Cabral, and I am thrilled to say this is my 18th year teaching elementary children. I grew up in Massachusetts and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities and Social Sciences and completed the Elementary Education Certification Program, where I became a certified Elementary Teacher. I began my teaching career in a Catholic School teaching Kindergarten. After having my first child, I left my position and owned and operated a tutoring business called Great Place to Learn. I was able to work one on one with students from grades K-5. After a few years, my growing family decided to move with my parents to Florida. I was hired at Deep Creek Elementary School in 2006 as a Kindergarten teacher. In 2016 I began teaching 2nd grade! I have enjoyed this transtion so much!
Currently, I live with my husband, Jason, and my two girls (Molly and Chloe)
I enjoy reading, watching movies, exercising, and spending time with my family.
I am enjoying my new 2nd grade class. We are already becoming a classroom family.
