Welcome Mariners!                                                     

I am Jamie Verwey, your Assistant Principal of Curriculum, which encompasses everything that has to do with curriculum, instruction, and assessment. I have been in education since 2007, teaching grades 2nd-8th and a member of Murdock Middle’s administrative team. I have been married since 2011 to my husband, Andrew, who is a local Charlotte County FireFighter/EMT. We have two children, Layton and Adalyn, who are in attendance at ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â. 

As your APC, Assistant Principal of Curriculum, my responsibilities are to oversee curriculum alignment, state testing, professional development, and instructional strategies on our campus.  My goal is to ensure that our curriculum meets the highest standards and prepares our students for success in their future. I will strive to help teachers provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum that will meet the needs of all students.
