I was born and raised a Georgia peach, but have called the sunshine state my home for the last 23 years. I attended the Univesity of Florida for the first two years of college, then transferred back home to the University of Georgia where I completed both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education. While in college, I competed as a Gator and later a Bulldog in both cross country and track. I met my husband, Macks, while we were coaching track at UGA. You can imagine that the Georgia/Florida game is a win-win for me! Macks and I have tro children, Marshall and Molly. Marshall recently graduated from UF and Molly is in her junior year at UF. When I am not in the classroom, I like to spend my time exercising, gardening and traveling.
It is my hope to inspire each studnet to be kind, work hard, and have fun each day!
