Mr. Bruce Fourman, Principal
Bruce Allen Fourman is the principal at L.A. Ainger. He used to teach Drafting I, Drafting II, Drafting III, Engineering, and AP Computer Science Principles to high school aged students. Prior to teaching, he was an architectural designer for Fero Construction, Inc., Diplomat Homes, and Action Engineering. He has also served as a Dean and Assistant Principal prior to his appointment as principal at L.A. Ainger.
Bruce’s degree is in Educational Leadership, in which he earned a Master’s Degree. His Bachelor’s Degree focused on architecture where he has been recognized as an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects as well as a Certified Associate with Autodesk AutoCAD products. His love of architecture has also involved him with the National Historic Preservation Society as well as local chapters. Because of his interest, he has been associated with architecture and drafting for the past 25 years.
One thing that has been present in Bruce’s career is his striving for perfection. Whether it was designing structures or teaching students to be designers, or working with students in the dean's office, he has never settled for anything less than the best effort from himself or his students. For recreation, he reads, walks, runs, loves to camp, and also enjoys spending time with his family.

Ms. Nicole Davel, Assistant Principal
Welcome to L.A. Ainger Middle School! Your Assistant Principal is Nicole Davel. She taught elementary and middle school since 2005. During her time in the classroom, Mrs. Davel was actively participating in leadership roles throughout the school. She has a passion for learning, building relationships, and helping others.
Nicole Davel grew up in Englewood and attended Vineland, L.A. Ainger, and Lemon Bay. She received a volleyball scholarship to South Florida Community College. After finishing her Associates Degree, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from the University of North Florida. Additionally, Mrs. Davel graduated with her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She is reading and ESOL endorsed.
Mrs. Davel is a mother to three wonderful children and has been married for several years. She loves to read on a daily basis and spend time with her family.

Ms. Matina Pulliam, Assistant Principal
Your Assistant Principal is Matina Pulliam. She has been a part of ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â for the last seventeen years. She started her career at Meadow Park Elementary, moved up to Murdock Middle School and has been at Port Charlotte High School for the last eight years. It was at Port Charlotte High that Ms. Pulliam served as the Dean of Students.
Matina grew up in New York but moved to the Port Charlotte area in 1986. She attended and graduated from Port Charlotte High School. After high school, Matina worked full time for United Airlines and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology. After retiring from United Airlines in 2006, Matina started her education career. She is a four-time Teacher of the Year Finalist and a FCSS Social Studies Teacher of the Year. Matina holds certifications in K-6 General Education, 6-12 Social Sciences, Exceptional Student Education k-12 and is Reading, Gifted and English as Second Language endorsed. She earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education in 2022.
Matina has three daughters that play a very important part in her life. She enjoys the beach, reading and more than anything spending time with her family and friends.
