Welcome! I have been teaching Language Arts at L.A. Ainger Middle School since 2005. That happened to be when I also graduated from Ramapo College in New Jersey with a B.A. in Literature and Education in grades K-12. I enjoy living and working in Florida. 

During the 2023-2024 school year, the students and I will be embarking on an educational experience where utilization of  classroom technology will occur more frequently in daily learning using the Canvas platform. All assignments will be posted on Canvas this year. Students will utilize Chrome Books to take notes, read from their ELA online textbook, and complete assignments through Canvas. Each student will receive a consumable workbook along with a Test Prep book that may be stored in the class. Since technology cannot always be relied upon, I am expecting some bumps along the road. Still, I am excited about the experience and the learning that we will gain by utilizing technology in greater depth. May this year be a healthy, safe, and positive learning experience for all of us!
