Hello, my name is Cary Trierweiler, and I am your Kingsway Elementary School Psychologist! I was raised in a small town in upstate New York, but I have lived in Florida for over 7 years now. I first received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tampa. I then attended Florida State University (Go Noles!!) where I studied school psychology and received both my Masters and Education Specialist degrees. As I just moved this past summer from Hillsborough County, this is my first year working in Charlotte County Public schools. I am so excited to work with our Kingsway students, families, and staff this year! As a school psychologist, I am responsible for completing psychoeducational evaluations to help determine student’s needs for Exceptional Student Education services. I am here to provide behavioral, emotional, and academic support to our students through counseling, consultation, and evaluations. I truly love working with children and seeing their progress each school year! In my free time, I love to get outside and enjoy the Florida sunshine, spend time with my friends and family, and cuddle with my 10-year-old golden retriever Lexi!
